Prior to graduating from Louisiana State University and Loyola Law School, Doug served his country as an MP in the United States Marine Corps and is a Veteran of Desert Storm.

Stacey Ingram Culpepper joined McGinity Law Firm in 2016 with specialization in car accident claims resolution.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Science and Nursing in 1991, Stacey graduated from LSU in 1997 earning a degree in paralegal studies. Stacey is a seasoned paralegal with vast experience in claims management and trial preparation, enabling her to navigate the complex nature of legal, medical and financial decisions that arise in an auto accident with injuries.

Growing up in Washington Parish, Stacey strives to help others by going above and beyond in her professional and personal life. Stacey follows the guiding principle that loyalty will be returned and knowledge is a powerful tool. Therefore, before making a decision that can result in significant consequences to your property or bodily injury claim with long-lasting effects.

Katie Behrens joined McGinity Law Firm in February 2020 as a paralegal specializing in auto-related insurance claims. Having grown up in Covington, Katie graduated from Covington High School and subsequently went on to earn Psychology and Criminal Justice degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University while working at the iconic Northshore restaurant Mattina Bella. Katie is a Louisiana Licensed Private Investigator and now brings her educational background and private investigator’s license to assist individuals in navigating the often complex area of accident loss insurance claims.

Lexie joined McGinity Law Firm, LLC in 2019 as part of the marketing management team. Additionally, Lexie handles a variety of legal services for the firm. Lexie was born and raised in Bogalusa, LA, where she graduated from Ben's Ford school, before furthering her education at Southeastern Louisiana University in Kinesiology. Prior to joining McGinity Law Firm, she worked as a leasing consultant in Hammond, Louisiana.
Outside of the world of law, Lexie has been involved in competing and judging pageants for multiple years and has volunteered for numerous events in her community. She believes in always putting the client first, while providing the best and fairest representation for all.

Alex Smith joined the McGinity Law Firm as a Law Clerk in 2024, after a decade in the petrochemical industry as a senior engineer. Alex earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, and he is currently seeking a J.D. at Loyola Law School. At McGinity Law Firm, he aims to apply his analytical skills and technical knowledge to ensure fair representation and support for those who might otherwise be overwhelmed by the complexity and resources of their opponents. With a focus on making a tangible difference, Alex is dedicated to bringing a technical, systematic approach to legal challenges, aiming to secure the best possible outcome for the little guy. Alex is a licensed P.E. in Louisiana in Control Systems Engineering and Chemical Engineering.

Jeannie Lafluer

Jeannie Lafleur

Jeannie Lafleur recently joined the McGinity team as a Paralegal at our new location in Washington Parish. Jeannie was raised in Bogalusa, LA and graduated from Bogalusa High School. After high school, Jeannie attended Southeastern Louisiana University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in General Management.

Not long after graduating, she went on to run a small delivery business for 8 years which provided her with excellent organizational and time management skills. In 2020, she was given the opportunity to embark on a new journey in the legal field. For three years, Jeannie worked as a Paralegal at a law firm in downtown Covington, specializing in family law, personal injury, and business law. Jeannie also has experience as a deputy clerk from her time at the Washington Parish Clerk of Court.

Jeannie is happy to have the opportunity to work in her hometown again, and she is eager to assist the residents of Washington Parish with their insurance
claims.

Angie Whitehead joined McGinity Law Firm in 2024 as a paralegal. Having worked with defense attorneys at Galloway Law Firm and plaintiff attorneys at Richard J. Fernandez, LLC, she has experience with defense and plaintiff clients. Her extensive background allows her to skillfully navigate trial preparation and the ever-changing legal world.

Angie grew up in the small town of Livingston, Louisiana and has resided in Abita Springs for 28 years. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Management with a minor in Psychology. She is active in her community and is always willing to go above and beyond for her clients, friends and family.
