A Harahan woman who shot and killed her ex-boyfriend Saturday evening told investigators she fired after he attacked her and her 16-year-old son, authorities said. The agency has classified the case a homicide and will consult with the district attorney’s office, said Col. John Fortunato, spokesman for the department.
Authorities indicated the couple, who dated off and on for three years, had a history of domestic abuse.
